O Conexão Povos da Floresta é mais do que internet na sua comunidade: somos uma iniciativa conjunta que tem como objetivo conectar em rede mais de 5 mil comunidades indígenas, quilombolas, extrativistas e ribeirinhas em territórios protegidos da Amazônia Legal. A ideia é aliar conectividade e energia a programas de inclusão, segurança e empoderamento nas comunidades beneficiadas.
O projeto atua com base em três principais pilares – infraestrutura, controle comunitário e inclusão digital consciente -, de modo que a internet funcione como uma ferramenta de transformação social para as comunidades beneficiadas, permitindo o acesso à saúde, educação e oportunidades profissionais e, com isso, ajudando na conservação da floresta e no uso consciente da rede.

Por meio do projeto e através de um processo de priorização realizado entre as organizações de base, as comunidades recebem um kit de conectividade que inclui equipamentos como antena de internet banda larga via satélite, roteador, celular e computador.
Além disso, as comunidades sem acesso à energia convencional também recebem um kit de energia solar, com placas fotovoltaicas para geração de energia e uma bateria de lítio para armazenamento da energia.
Para garantir o uso consciente da rede, um aplicativo foi desenvolvido especificamente para que cada comunidade possa fazer a gestão da sua internet, de acordo com as regras que forem acordadas coletivamente.
Já os programas de saúde, educação, empreendedorismo, entre outros, são oferecidos através de grupos de trabalho organizados entre os integrantes da rede Conexão Povos da Floresta e os que tiverem interesse em se unir à iniciativa.
A rede Povos da Floresta é aberta. Para acessar e se conectar, você só precisa usar seu dispositivo com wifi e digitar seu usuário e senha.
Toda comunidade conta com um Facilitador da Floresta. Peça a essa pessoa para criar um usuário e configurar uma senha.
Informe o problema ao Facilitador da Floresta. Ele primeiro vai checar os equipamentos e cabos. Se for necessário, ele entrará em contato com nosso suporte técnico.
Observe também os arredores da antena: se árvores ou casas estiverem muito próximas, elas podem causar obstruções do sinal.
Verifique se seu celular possui algum antivírus ou bloqueador de propaganda (AdBlock, por exemplo) instalado. Esses aplicativos normalmente bloqueiam redes abertas e impedem que você se conecte à rede do projeto. Por isso, nós recomendamos que você desinstale esses aplicativos. Se o problema persistir, informe ao facilitador para que ele entre em contato com o nosso suporte técnico.
Às vezes, regras de proteção e filtro de conteúdos habilitados podem bloquear alguns sites e conteúdos específicos. Se você acha que o conteúdo que você está tentando acessar não deveria estar bloqueado, informe o site desejado ao Facilitador e solicite que ele repasse a informação para o suporte técnico.
Acesse o aplicativo Povos da Floresta, já instalado no celular do facilitador. Lá, abra o Menu e procure por “Rede de Convidado”.
A maioria dos serviços de internet via satélite vem de satélites geoestacionários que orbitam o planeta a uma altitude de mais de 35.000 km. Os satélites utilizados pelo projeto estão em órbitas baixas. Por isso, a velocidade da internet é significativamente melhor que a de serviços tradicionais via satélite.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at luizcf14@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers.
